As I have become
legally blind I am very aware of the fact that the only thing permanent
in life is change. This change is evident as my media has moved from
charcoal, oil, pastel and acrylic to mixed media.
Change is true
of the subject matter also, as I ahve turned from the visual - portraits,
abstracts, waterscapes and landscapes - to the emotional, becoming
involved in what is happening in the worlk around me: "The Sound
and the Fury", "Signs of the Times", "Kosovo",
and "The Sojourners". Without intending to make a social
comment, that seems to be where my heart is now.
